I was Diagnosed with Throat Cancer

Right after my first mission trip I was diagnosed with throat cancer. It was the most difficult and most incredible year of my life. I underwent surgery to remove my tonsil and a lymph node and then trudged through several weeks of chemo therapy and radiation.Show more

I lost a lot of weight and became a shell of the man I once was, however, God never left me. He held me in his arms and rocked me like a child in my lowest moments and never let go.

I hope this story helps some of you who might be struggling with an illness wether it be physical or mental to know that you are not alone. And, if you want to talk or someone to pray with, I'm here.

Psalm 91 was given to me over and over again throughout my time with cancer. It is a chapter in the bible that to this day reaches deep into my soul.
