Life can give you a chance to look at your life experiences from a different angle. Marilyn had plenty of harsh life experiences, but she needed all these to get where she was as a fine actress.

You will not see where your Life ends up because it otherwise would be too overwhelming for your Mind to see and understand. Also, we have Free Will and we can change our future.

Important is to be the Now. Because in the Now we are able to make a choice, a decision.
