Mother killed, child shot in ambush in Detroit

Detroit police are trying to locate four individuals after a shooting left a 44-year-old mother dead and a 10-year-old boy injured. Police say the 44-year-old woman was traveling with her son, going westbound on Downing near Bassett in Detroit Tuesday afternoon, when four people got out of a black Chrysler 300 and started firing at her SUV.
