My First Birthday

Rumble — January 19, 1960 - The Casale relatives celebrate my first birthday, along with my Grandfather's which was the same day! It is transferred footage from the old 8mm reel to VHS to finally digitized. I chose the Italian "Tarantella" by Mulberry Street for the background music as this or something like it, was most probably playing on my grandfather's victrola during that time. My grandfather had quite the record collection of Italian music! These are part of the sounds of my early childhood growing up in an Italian family.
