Behind the U.S. Capitol Riot: The new Great Purge? Trump’s Farewell Gift to Communist China

In 1934, the sudden murder of top Soviet Russian official, Sergei Kirov, triggered a 4-year brutal suppression of opposing voices in the Russian Communist Party. Stalin calculatingly used Kirov’s death to wrench public opinion against the supposed “conspirators,” meaning ultimately anyone who posed a threat to Stalin’s rule. In a similar vein the U.S. Capitol Riot of January 6th is being used to justify impeaching President Trump, who continues, against all odds, in taking decisive action to safeguard America with little more than a day of his term remaining.

The new “great purge” has been extended to Trump supporters and conservative voices in general, with widespread censorship across social media. This occurs in spite of emerging evidence that radical left factions played a hand in fueling the violence that occurred.

In any event, the immense burden of the presidency will soon be transferred from the hands of Donald J Trump to those yet to prove their ability to manage it. With a nation arguably more divided than during the Civil War and prospects for heavy division within the Democratic Party, the new administration could find itself even more pressured than the outgoing one. Fortunately for it and America in general, substantial, last-minute actions have been taken to stem the toxic reach of the Chinese Communist Party into American markets.
