Taurus G3C $253 Of Compact Freedom New Owners Guide

The Taurus G3C is a budget option for those looking for a compact carry piece. It comes with 3 magazines with a 12 round capacity. Coming in under $300 the G3C provides an option for those on a budget or looking to spend minimal money to see if its for them. It has an external safety, an interesting re strike capability and overall a pretty good feel. The grip feels good and has great texture and the extension on the magazine makes it fit bigger hands. The initial trigger take up is pretty long and will almost confuse you the first time you go to the range with it. In all I had zero problems with it on the range and it functioned exactly as it should. We will do some long term testing and see how it goes. There is however a known issue with the mechanical safety where if you pull the trigger back to the wall and activate the manual safety the trigger will still release the striker. In all honesty I've never manipulated a trigger and safety at the same time for obvious reasons but this is definite something to be aware of.
