2020 has undoubtedly been a year of turbulent times, and despite the many ups and downs we have all experienced this past year, one thing has remained steadfast, dependable, and solid as a rock – First Responders. This Holiday Season, while you are celebrating with your loved ones, we at Strategic Response Partners ask that you take a moment and join us in giving thanks to all of our nation’s first responders, including the men and women that so courageously braved the storms and responded to the 2020 disasters this past year.

This year’s Pandemic, coupled with numerous fires, riots, and hurricanes has tested the fortitude of our nation. It has tested both the endurance of our first responders as well as the faith of survivors, who, despite having lost nearly everything, remain optimistic that better times lie ahead.

As we have responded to COVID-19, Riots, Wildfires, Hurricanes Laura, Sally, Delta, Zeta, and Eta, time and time again we have been amazed and humbled by the strength and resiliency of our nation, as well as the compassion of our people. Throughout our Country, we saw a nation UNITED with neighbors helping neighbors, first responders saving lives, and local officials working together to rebuild community after community.

In these times where our nation’s citizens are most greatly tested, we have the chance to rise to the challenge and demonstrate the best of our humanity. Everyone here at SRP wants to personally thank those members of our first responder family and our extensive vendor network who have consistently risen to the challenge and deployed with us to the front lines of each these disasters to assist our fellow Americans in keeping the lights on. Whether you have personally saved a life, battled the wildfires, stood guard on rooftops to protect lives and property, helped clear debris from roadways, helped power a hospital, provided mitigation services, fed the hungry, helped establish order in a shelter, reunited a family, or helped anyone navigate the insurance recovery process, you have made a remarkable difference in the lives of many. You have sacrificed your own comfort, time with your loved ones, and upended your routine to serve those in desperate need, and we commend you. You are the unsung heroes we honor each and every day, as your service helps make this world a better place.

We would also like to thank those who continue to carry out the day-to-day missions that keep our country strong and moving forward. When a teammate deploys to the frontlines of a disaster, their usual work doesn’t go with them — but it still needs to be done. We want to thank the family members, fire department personnel, and friends of our sacred first responders, each for taking on these additional responsibilities and allowing your colleagues the freedom to deploy, as your courage and selflessness not only demonstrates the unity of effort we strive for every day, but allows our first responders the ability to perform the heroic acts they do.

With this year’s Hurricane season coming to a close, our nation faces a long and difficult road to recovery. While we know that we will all continue to be tested, we know that together, we will continue to overcome any obstacle placed before us. Thank you all who have served - for your selflessness and your sacrifice; We could NOT be prouder to serve with each and every one of you.

In furtherance of our salute to first responders, we have created this video of some of our teams responding to Hurricane Laura, which shows just one of many responses our teams were tasked with this past year and the amazing work that First Responders do.
