Thanks for watching! We visited the #CopakeIronWorks site in this video as well as #TaconicStatePark. We enjoy seeing the history of areas because it is different from your every day and gives joy. The refurbished #furnace was in great condition and the buildings and tools were also interesting. Then, as we love to do, we went on our hike. The water was from a #spring on part of the trail and was crystal clear as well as was the water in the river. The hike up wasn't too difficult and we even hit the #border of #NewYork and #Massachusetts. What made the trudging through the cold, damp weather all worth it was the spectacular #waterfall at the end of it. The rain and hail on the way back though put a little extra caution in our step and we didn't know if our #survival training would have to kick in to gear. Lastly, we took a quick drive to the other side of the park to get views to take your breath away.
