Two part Invention in E minor (Em) - Harvey Krage

While there is not a 2-Part Invention better than those of J.S. Bach, the master of counterpoint himself, this is humbly submitted in homage to the master who continues to instruct, though departed.

This Invention features a full measure length theme, which is then brought back in the relative major key, followed by inversion, modulating sequences leading to various forms of episodic thematic development, and concluding the final thematic statement in stretto.
