2019 Leon Valley Christmas Lights at Public Library (4K Hi-Res)

I used a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone to record the sights as I flew slowly thru the displays. No spectators were present, other than a friendly visit from Leon Valley Police who were out patrolling looking for fireworks and other problems. They gave me their blessing and said "don't crash!" They jinxed me, as you will see at the end of this video.

Every year, Leon Valley decorates the trees and parking lot area behind their public library, located on Evers Road, near Poss Road. I was told about this display by a friend and just had to go check it out.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, at least until the end happened when the drone crashed into a pole as I was rotating counter-clockwise to capture a lighted ground display. Fortunately the damages were under $200 and it was repaired within a few days. However, the upside is that it made for an awesome ending to the video...

I flew during this event just for the fun of flying and did not create this video to promote, or on behalf of, any of the organizers for this community event.
