Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741) Sonata a Quattro, Al Santo Sepolcro, RV 130, mvt. 1 Largo Molto
Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741) was an Italian composer, violinist, teacher and priest. He is known for his work in the development of the concerto grosso.

Sonata a Quattro, Al Santo Sepolcro, RV 130 was originally written for two violins, viola, and basso continuo in the key of E-flat major. The Sonata is said to be a companion piece to a two-movement Sinfonia in B-minor. “Al Santo Sepolcro” refers to the Knight of the Holy Sepulcher, a hero of the first crusade.
