Water's Whisper by Steven England
He comes into the lives of many, responding to the heart’s fears or life’s pain
For another it’s an altar call, realizing they can’t wash away sin’s shame.
He is the only answer for life’s mystery, coming to the meek and proud alike, armed with tender mercies, rescuing the incomplete and broken life.
He speaks every tongue, but hears of the language of my heart, removing sin that guilt might leave forever.
I can’t do this alone God, I need your peace today. I’m asking for forgiveness and mercy, sin’s debt paid in full, right away.
Meanwhile, in heaven’s hall, Jesus looks at the Father, and the Father looks at him.
They smile at one another, compassionate hearts melt knowing another child will live forever with them.
A misty silence begins to evaporate, giving way to the thundering sound of many rushing waters. My anxieties ease, and sounds waterfall begins moistening my heart’s ear.
I hear a quiet voice begin to speak among the rushing waters, faint yet audible in my heart’s ear.
The whisper speaks as an echoing vibration….FORGIVEN MY CHILD, FORGIVEN… as His gentle hand wipes away my tears.
In every life, there comes a time when you must seek the Water’s Whisper.
