President Trump First Pass-in-Review as Commander in Chief

January 20, 2017: President Trump participated in his first pass-in-review of troops as commander in chief on the East end of the U.S. Capitol.

The ceremony is an age-old American military tradition of a new commander  inspecting his troops, so as to communicate to the ranks that he is now the man in charge. Every branch of the military is represented and they march in formation down Pennsylvania Avenue to render the first salute to the newly sworn-in commander in chief.
