What The Miami Tourism Board Doesn't Want You To See

What you see in this video will not be featured in any tour guide or tourism board anytime soon! It has nothing to do with South Beach or women or bikinis or fast cars at all. I think there was an episode of Miami Vice about it though. It involves one of the sub cultures of the area. Most of the population here is Cuban and a good majority of them practice Santeria which a mixture of Yoruba and Roman Catholicism in a way. Part of it involves rituals to the saints which you will see in this video. Many railroad crossings in Miami and adjacent cities are littered with such acts and leaving in their wake stench, eye sores, and possible health violations. Not to mention questionable practices. This particular FEC crossing is contaminated with chickens and coconuts and bags. This is such a big deal here, that one case even made it to the Supreme Court and that was the Lukumi Babalu Aye vs City of Hialeah in 1993. Pitbull and Gloria Estefan will not be making songs about this, I guarantee!
