Which Streaming Services Do You NEED?!
With increasing competition in the streaming service market, I wanted to give my thoughts on the space. From the recent addition of Discovery Plus (Discovery+) to the lineup with the help of Chip and Joanna Gaines, I realized we are seeing more streaming services and subsequent costs associated with them than it would cost to have cable and many cable alternatives have shows offering free content on YouTube and the like. With HBO Max, Disney Plus (Disney+), Apple TV Plus (Apple TV+), Fox Nation, and Peacock recently joining the already popular ESPN Plus (ESPN+), Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, CBS All Access, YouTube TV, and YouTube Premium, it will be interesting to see if anymore services come to the market in 2021 and which of these survive going forward.
