White Rhinos - Endangered Species Breeding
Endangered Species Breeding White Rhinos are one of the most endangered animal species in the world. They are being poached in South Africa for their horn which (is falsely) believed to have medicinal qualities. Kristy Morcom, Director of Media Relations for the Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium & Safari Park, Litchfield, Arizona, states that a full grown adult male has no natural predators other than humans. There is a true need for breeding programs under human care to help sustain the population so not one more species suffers extinction.
