Sightseeing Seaplane

Taken from 16mm silent home movies, a seaplane, apparently set up to take passengers on sightseeing flights, lands on a beach, then turns around and heads out again. This film dates back to at least the 1930s....perhaps even the late 1920s. The plane has the look of a Curtis or a Grumman, but I'm not sure of the maker/model. All of the pictures of Curtis and Grumman seaplanes I've seen have shrouds around the engine....this one does not. It has been suggested that this is a Loening C2 Amphibian, and there's a pretty close resemblance there.
