WandaVision merges the Marvel Cinematic Universe with nostalgic TV
WandaVision is an American television miniseries created by Jac Schaeffer for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics characters Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch and Vision. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. The series takes place after the events of the film Avengers: Endgame (2019).
Rolling out's Porsha Monique interviews the lead cast consisting of Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Kathryn Hahn, and Teyonah Parris, to get an understanding of each of their respective characters and why the audience should tune in.
Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprise their respective roles as Wanda Maximoff and Vision from the film series. Kathryn Hahn, Teyonah Parris, Kat Dennings, and Randall Park also star.
WandaVision is scheduled to premiere with its first two episodes on January 15, 2021, and will run for nine episodes until March 5. It will be the first series in Phase Four of the MCU.
