Congressman Bill Huizenga Votes No On Impeaching President Trump
The House voted to impeach President Trump for an historic second time Wednesday. He was charged with "incitement of insurrection."
The House voted 232–197. Every Democrat voted in favor of impeachment, while 10 Republicans joined their colleagues to impeach the president.
Two West Michigan Republican Congressman voted for impeachment. Fred Upton and Peter Meijer.
Lakeshore Congressman Bill Huizenga voted against impeaching the President.
The single article moves to the Senate, but Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said Trump won't face his trial until after Biden is sworn in next week.
