Streamlight has had the TLR1 series of lights out for years now and I remember my first one that was 100 lumens. Now the TLR1-HL has a punishing 1k lumens for your needs. Pistol lights have a pretty difficult role to fill. They need to be bright enough to id at distance, yet spill light enough to illuminate a larger room or garage so you can identify what you need too. It carries the same activation switches and ten tap strobe functions as previous models.
