Are we returning to the days of the company store?

Just like the coal companies in the early 20th century who owned everything and forced their workers to only shop at the company store are we returning to those days as Amazon continues to squeeze out all competition. In the end they may be the only retailer available to purchase goods and services from, but that is only if you have not been blackballed for being a conservative.
