Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico - Day Trip Adventure

As most of California was on lockdown, we decided it was time for a trip south of the border. With our Global Entry card, we are able to cross back into California fairly quickly and not have to endure the long wait in the regular border crossing. This makes the excursion far more appealing.

Approximately an hour south of Rosarito, east of Ensenada, up in the hills is Guadalupe Valley hosting over one-hundred and fifty wineries. Most are family-owned and operated with lineages hailing from Spain, France, Italy, Russia, and of course Mexico. It's a must-do for anyone wanting to taste amazing wine, visit local eateries, enjoy some spectacular views, and embed yourself in the local culture.

I made this quick video highlighting our day trip visiting three wineries and staying at our favorite affordable hotel, Las Rocas. If you would like to inquire about the wineries, please feel free to reach out.

Enjoy!
