My granddaughter Caroline and her husband Brad invited me to take a boat trip to Morgan Island (aka Monkey Island) from Edisto Island South Carolina. We are hoping to see the troupes of research monkeys that were released on the island from prior medical research experiments. They are permanent inhabitants of the island and are protected by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources.
