A new year is giving renewed hope that Kansas City can become a safer community for everyone. 41 Action News Anchor Dia Wall recently met with Kansas City, Missouri, Police Chief Rick Smith, Kansas City, Mo. Mayor Quinton Lucas and Jean Peters Baker at the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office to discuss the new year.
