Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow Over Mystara Online Multiplayer Playthrough (Wii U) - Part 1

This is part 1 of my online multiplayer playthrough of Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow Over Mystara on the Wii U. This is one of two games included in the "Chronicles of Mystara" release from Capcom. I'm player three on screen (CarbonizerMike).

I never played these games back when they came out (I never even knew they existed), but I'm a huge beat 'em up fan, so I knew I had to buy this game immediately. I used to play all sorts of beat 'em ups when I was a kid (especially the Double Dragon series), but the tournament fighting boom that occurred after Street Fighter II pretty much killed off these types of games, which is a shame.

Luckily, I'm getting the chance to play some of these old games on newer systems. What's nice is that you can play through the entire game in online co-op mode and simply drop in and out of lobbies whenever you want. You'll see that in this video here. Even if we lose someone, another person can take his place.

I tried a few different characters, but so far, I haven't settled on a favorite. This game gets really chaotic with all the characters on screen, but that's half the fun. Sometimes I just mash the attack button without realizing where I am or what I'm doing. It's taking me some time to learn everything about this game.

In this part I completed the first three stages, and my group took the optional raft stage (3-B).

Recorded with the Hauppauge HD PVR and the Wii's component cables in native 720p resolution. I'm using a Classic Controller Pro.
