Shorten the curve

From last spring, we were told that flattening the curve would NOT save lives other than by allowing the hospitals to keep up with cases. THEREFORE, after the peak has been flattened, we can calculate when we an "unmitigate" (no masks, no distancing, etc.) to speed up the curve without overloading hospitals and without increasing deaths. We are way past that point now, since even Michigan is showing way fewer deaths this week than before Christmas, so NO Christmas surge.
This spreadsheet lets anyone enter data about allowable cases per day, peak cases per day, etc. This is a 2 minute summary of a spreadsheet that calculates time saved by unmitigating. I have longer versions available with more explanation. I can provide the spreadsheet to anyone who is interested.
