William Evander Penn Hymn “That Beautiful Gate”

A Confederate Veteran and Baptist Preacher by the name of William Evander Penn authored many late 19th century hymnals in “That Beautiful Gate” which was the last song written and sang by Mr. Penn before his passing in Eureka Springs, Arkansas in 1895.
