Explanation of the Sunnah Part 11: We Must Not Rely on Metaphor or Analogy

In our method of explaining Creed, including the actions of our Creator, His Names and Attributes, issues of the unseen and the hereafter and other issues in aqeedah, we do not rely on Metaphor or Analogy. Rather our method stops at revealed evidence. Our understanding of the revealed evidence is limited to what was revealed, as it was explained by the companions of the prophet, and they did not ask about our Creator, "How", or "Why." Neither did they interpret issues of creed using analogy or metaphor.
