Dolphins on the Rappahannock River

Some folks find it hard to believe that I'm able to photograph dolphins in the Rappahannock River. Well... Here's the proof.
Every summer the dolphins come up the river in great numbers. They usually come into the river in the early morning and go back to the Chesapeake Bay in the late morning or early afternoon.
I was able to get a short video of these three (mom, dad & calf) as they crossed the entrance to Greenvale Creek on their way back to the Chesapeake Bay on 8 June, 2017.
This is practically in my backyard!
