Five or ten years ago would've been perfect. The next best time is now!

If you're waiting for a perfect time to start...that perfect time is never going to come.

The truth is, your life will never be arranged in such a way that makes the timing perfect. Your products and services or whatever it is that you'll offer will never be perfect before you start.

In fact they SHOULDN'T be! If you're waiting for life to be ideal...you'll be waiting for a long time!

Instead, it's often a matter of simply jumping in, hitting the ground running, and learning as much as you can as you go.

"Waiting for perfect" -- the perfect time, until your product's perfect, is Resistance.

If you don't know what Resistance is, you need to pause this video, go to Amazon, and buy a book called The War Of Art by Steven Pressfield

In the face of Resistance, you have to just start. And, you don't need much to get rolling.

Most business newbies have grand visions of big companies with loads of revenue pouring in. They're looking at other people's "finished business" and want to start there.

...they want to start at the end, with a big, finished, successful business rather than build something solid and stable up over time.

While it's important to have a long-term vision, you can't let a grand vision for a perfect business stop you from ever getting started.

Instead, start small and lean. The key is to test your ideas as cheaply and as quickly as possible.

Why? Because you don't know for sure if what you want to sell has willing buyers just yet.

You don't know if the market is willing to pay for what you're offering.

So rather than take on huge amounts of debt, spending money on inventory, advertising, and other expenses on a product or service that hasn't even proven itself as viable...

...start small and test. And if your idea fails, that's great news! It means you just saved yourself years and years of work and pouring tons of money into something that was dead before it ever got started.

Great! So that now frees you up to move on to a better idea.

Keep testing, trying, and failing -- it's all part of the process.
