“Where can I turn for peace/There is peace in Christ”

This is an arrangement I threw together today, but have played a bit before. I decided to share it today specifically for the people closely following politics. (And everyone else too, but specially them) because right now you may be thinking “where can I turn for peace?” Well I have the answer for you! “There’s is peace in Christ!”😜 here are the lyrics:

Where can I turn for peace:
1. Where can I turn for peace?
Where is my solace
When other sources cease to make me whole?
When with a wounded heart, anger, or malice,
I draw myself apart,
Searching my soul?
2. Where, when my aching grows,
Where, when I languish,
Where, in my need to know, where can I run?
Where is the quiet hand to calm my anguish?
Who, who can understand?
He, only One.
3. He answers privately,
Reaches my reaching
In my Gethsemane, Savior and Friend.
Gentle the peace he finds for my beseeching.
Constant he is and kind,
Love without end.

There is peace in Christ:

1. There is peace in Christ
When we learn of Him.
Feel the love He felt for us
When He bore our sins.
Listen to His words.
Let them come alive.
If we know Him as He is,
There is peace in Christ.
He gives us hope
When hope is gone.
He gives us strength
When we can’t go on.
He gives us shelter
In the storms of life.
When there’s no peace on earth,
There is peace in Christ.
2. There is peace in Christ
When we walk with Him
Through the streets of Galilee
To Jerusalem.
Mend the broken hearts.
Dry the tearfilled eyes.
When we live the way He lived,
There is peace in Christ.
He gives us hope
When hope is gone.
He gives us strength
When we can’t go on.
He gives us shelter
In the storms of life.
When there’s no peace on earth,
There is peace in Christ.
He gives us hope
When hope is gone.
He gives us strength
When we can’t go on.
He gives us shelter
In the storms of life.
When there’s no peace on earth,
There is peace in Christ.
When there’s no peace on earth,
There is peace in Christ.
