A message to Lakeline. How to fix the TX22 Fiber Optic Rear Sight.

UPDATE: I've learned that the G2C Rear Sight, also from Lakeline, does have a hole that lines up with the factory screw hole. Due to inconsistencies with Taurus's slide cut outs, I would recommend getting that rear sight instead of the one made for the TX-22.

I purchased 2 of the part: FA-SFR-TX22-STD
This fiber optic sight set is made specifically for the TX-22, so I figured it would be a solid fit.
The one I installed on my wife's TX-22 was a solid fit, the one on mine slid right thru the dovetail with no resistance. This is likely an issue with the Taurus MFG process and no fault of Lakeline.
The issue I have with these sights is that Taurus provides a factory centered screw hole to mount the sight, but Likeline chose to ignore the factory hole and use a set-screw instead.
This, combined with the loose milling on the slide on my TX-22 caused the sight to pop out of the dovetail when the set screw was tightened down.
So my fix was to drill out the sight so I could mount the factory screw, and counter sink it so the screw head would go deep enough to make a solid connection.
This was done with a hand drill and a block of wood, if this was done at the factory with proper machinery, I'm sure it would be much more square than my red-neck fix, but at least it won't pop off when I'm shooting.
I hope Lakeline reads this and makes this simple fix to this product.
