Homestead Cat Hides Food From His Colony Mate

Floki Cat displays a behavior called Food Caching which is how wild cats save their food for later. Food caching is thought to help preserve any left over food by keeping it cool. It is also a way to protect against other animals dining on their hard won catch. In this case, Floki is hiding his food from Zoe Cat. We notice that Floki and Otis try to hide their food but Zoe Cat does not practice this behavior.Show more
