The TV Commercial which includes Cool Turtle reviews, makes amazing claims that it will reduce mask friction, will stop sweating, will make you feel free like before the pandemic. Allegedly this shield will keep you Cool, Dry and Comfortable all day.

The company offers a 5 Year Extended Guarantee, but does cover shipping fees which means it’s not worth sending it back anyways.

When you try to order from their website they immediately checkmark your order to Pay $10 for 5 Cool Turtle mask inserts, $4.99 for shipping and $4.99 for 10 Face Masks. Uncheck this if you don’t want to overpay for 10 overpriced disposable face masks.
You may not want to be in a hurry to get these devices, as their website says shipping may take 3-6 weeks.

Aliexpress sells similar under mask shields for less than $1 each or 5 or $5 with free shipping.
But who wants to order from Aliexpress when a slow boat from China could take 3-4 weeks? Oh wait….

So is the Cool Turtle a Scam? No its not a scam. The product will work, of course not as good as the commercial claims, and you will be overpaying for a device which would not have cost much to manufacture. On the flip side, for $14.99 there’s a chance the CoolTurtle may actually improve your mask-wearing experience, and thus your quality of life.
