According to the available data, the traditional oven was severely affected by the heavy rains that the city witnessed, as its roof suddenly collapsed on the workers inside. This prompted the youth of the aforementioned neighborhood to intervene quickly to rescue workers from under the "rubble".

The same data indicate that the young men, who intervened to rescue the oven workers, heard, after taking out four people from under the collapsing dust, the moaning of another worker to rush to search for him, before the elements of the civil protection that worked to remove him.

Immediately, the injured were transferred to the Ibn Rushd University Hospital in Casablanca to receive the necessary treatment. However, one of them died on the road in the ambulance.

The situation is not limited to the old city of Al-Bayda, as the Darb Moulay Cherif area at the level of the Al-Muhammadi neighborhood shook Friday morning, due to the collapse of a house in Alley No. 30.

The accident left a great panic among the inhabitants, who rushed to the spot, amid a large gathering of them, and awaited what the search for victims would result in under the rubble.

According to preliminary data, a woman was removed from the rubble in a critical condition, to be transported to the emergency services. Meanwhile, the search for other citizens continues, among the residents of the collapsed building.
