Coby Persin uncovers how easy predators can lure children through social media!

With kids going back to school and most of them having a smart phone in hand (some as young as Kindergarten!), I think it's pertinent that we tackle the topic of social media this week. If not used properly and safety tips not in place, kids can and will disappear or be lured by child predators. This is so much more common than the news even reveals today. We have SnapChat and it's new SnapMaps feature that I talked about last month, where strangers can track down our kids in minutes along with the chat features on video games (many of them not allowing parents to choose to disable the chat feature). Even with kids texting and connecting with others online and meeting "new friends" they've just met via a text a week prior, it is critical the following Pop Culture Alert is shared with your kids and that they watch the links below to see more "social experiments" from the master Coby Persin. He reveals just how gullible today's children are to strangers.
