Florida Governor Ron Desantis Specifies the Church as Essential!

During Governor Desantis’ Coronavirus brief (April 2, 2020), he made it clear his take on the Government closing churches and synagogues. Among other questions also answering the constitutional rights of the Christian faith and his views on releasing felons back into society during this time.

Followed by preaching from Tampa Bay in front of the River church; on the day Rodney Howard-Browne was taken into custody by Sheriff Chad Chronister for “Unlawful Assembly”... stating that he was in disregard to the orders set in place by the President, the Governor, etc...

Ironically it does not seem Governor Desantis shares the same views as Sheriff Chronister; while he certainly does want to express the importance of social distancing in the assembly.
