Amen and A (Woman)? Slaughtering a pun with a Cleaver

It seems as though our politicians are completely out of hand and running amuck... It seems the 6th of January will go down in the books as one of those stands (by whose hands has yet to be determined), but we are left scratching our heads and wondering... where did we all go wrong and where do we go from here?
