Mothers are pretty important… :-)

I find it interesting that the Holy Spirit calls wisdom a “she”. I think it would behoove everyone to listen to this women. Wisdom is the secret weapon for believers.

Proverbs 4:7 The beginning of wisdom is: get wisdom! And along with all your getting, get insight!

Proverbs 9:10 The fear of Adonai is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of holy ones is understanding.

Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who is wise wins souls.

James 1:5 Now if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all generously and without reproach; and it will be given to him.

Wisdom will protect you from issues and events that show up in the lives of those that reject it. How does one know they are operating in wisdom? That’s the tough part. You don’t “feel” wisdom happening. You have to ask for it, seek it, and gain it from His Word. Once you start to fill yourself with His wisdom, you naturally express wisdom. When it comes time to make that business decision, if you have filled yourself with His wisdom, you will then react in the ways He intends for you.

One place to start is Proverbs. Read 1 chapter a day and in a month you will read the book of proverbs. If you really want to kick it hard core. Also read Psalms, but instead of 1 chapter you need to read 1 chapter then skip 30, and skip 30, skip 30, skip 30 and skip 30. So it will look like this. Chapter 1, 31, 61, 91, 101, 131, 161. This will give you a great understanding of wisdom and the heart of The Father.
