Brown Jenkin wood carving - Part 1

Welcome to this first part of this video series on my Brown Jenkin carving, which is a character that can be found in a short story by H.P. Lovecraft named The Dreams in the Witch House. He is the human-rat hybrid familiar of the witch Keziah Mason.

This part details the progress from a block of wood to the detailing phase.
