Good evening, I’m Still reporting on the coup.
Joe diGenova has only one peer when it comes to razor sharp Constitutional analysis, and that is Mark Levin. Which one is sharper depends solely on who’s feeling better on a given night.
Levin’s analysis about the failures of not only our Senators in Washington, but their peers in state legislatures around the nation should cut these weakling Americans to the core, and let’s hope it jogs the conscience of more than a few in these final hours before it all comes to a climax tomorrow.
[insert to: “… State legislatures.]
Why, for one simple reason that at the heart of the entire U.S. Constitution. Deconsolidation of power to the maximum extent which is practical.
The state legislatures represents the most deconsolidated power in this mighty nation. These are the elected officials in the sovereign states which are the closest representatives of the people. This is the essence of the deconsolidated power theme that dominates every aspect of the United States Constitution. But Levin’s point is that these elected representatives are not doing the people’s will. They are not representing their constituents fairly.
Could it be that some force with a lot of money has the deep pockets and the organizational talent to reach that deeply down into the American body politic to persuade these politicians to something that ignores the direct meaning of the Constitution, which in essence empowers these very politicians who tonight appear to be asleep at the switch as Rome burns?
[Insert to end]
I’m still reporting from just outside the citadel of American freedom. Good day.
