Senators Refuse & Pledge To Object To the Electoral Count. Trump Will Speak At Rally in Washington

Senators Tim Scott and Jim Inhofe have decided against objecting to the Electoral Votes from the contested states when the Joint Session of Congress begins tomorrow. Their (political) funeral.

Ted Cruz meanwhile will be attaching his attempt to put together an 1876 Style Committee when he objects to the Arizona Electors. That leaves the other 11 Senators who have signed onto Cruz's formal objection as either cosigners to this plan or a separate group of contesters to be rejoined after the committee is formalized or not. It is unclear.

We have new rules that are slightly helpful when it come to how the proceedings may happen tomorrow, but no clear idea what Pence is allowed or can do. Just an attempt at Congress to smash through legislation to benefit themselves.

As for the huge rally tomorrow, Enrique Tarrio (Chair of the Proud Boys) has been banished from Washington, the National Guard has been called in, the Mayor has suspended the Second Amendment (for all intents and purposes), and President Trump has vowed to address the presumably massive crowd tomorrow.

It shall be wild.
