Right:
✅ Kept the bar close
✅ Chest over bar at bottom
✅ Feet are grounded
❌ Lats aren’t engaged, causing back to round
❌ Shrugging at the top, making me lean back
❌ Hyperextending low back
❌ No big breaths
❌ Too much weight

Left:
✅ Lats are locked, keeping my spine protected
✅ Core is braced/neutral spine
✅ Weight is appropriate to form. Adding too much can cause you to comprise your form and leads to muscle imbalance and improper movement patterns aka injury.
✅ You can hear my breath. When you inhale, fill your belly up so much it’s touching your thighs, and exhale as you pull. It’ll help keep core engaged.
