“It has been a stressful endeavor to be involved in policing for 37 years and to be an African-American male, and I feel it in the worst way.” Former Madison Police Chief Noble Wray, who was brought onto the Jacob Blake shooting investigation as an independent consultant, was asked what he would say to Black and Brown Americans who were disappointed in the decision not to charge the shooting officer.
