What is Your Life? It is Even a Vapour! ~James 4:14 KJV~

Many look forward to bringing in the New Year and putting 2020 in their rear view mirror. Many make plans to accomplish things in 2021, thinking it is bound to be better than 2020.

What does the scripture say?

"Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin."
James 4:13-17 KJV

How can you make plans for tomorrow when tomorrow is not promised to you?!

Yesterday is gone while the future is not promised! With all certainty we only have NOW! What will you do with your now, while you have it?!

Many will put off God and one of two things will happen...

1) Jesus will come like a thief in the night, at a time they do not expect it.

2) They will die in their sin, stand before the judgment seat of Christ as a sinner, be cast into hell as a sinner.

Don't procrastinate! Do not put off repentance, humbly surrendering, faithfully following, and obeying the Lord Jesus Christ!

Tomorrow may never come!
