Advent Breakfast Christmas tradition

Our family celebrates an old French Huguenot tradition of special advent breakfasts. These change a bit with the seasons of our lives. With older kids it’s more of a candle-lit quiet and festive breakfast, and with little kids and grandkids, here is what it looks like at my parent's house. My father’s Christmas Village is always a highlight and has grown over the years. It’s always so much fun to watch the kids see the new set up each year. It’s never the same! I’m so grateful to be passing on this beautiful tradition to my kids, and I hope and expect Foucachons will be doing this 100 years from now!Show more
