One Minute Piano - Lesson 23 - Left Hand Broken Chords.

In this lesson you will learn the C, F and G major broken chords for your left hand.

A broken chord is the simple act of playing the notes of any chord individually - (one note at a time).

In Lesson 24, you will learn the right hand melody that goes along with this broken chord progression.

In Lesson 25, you will learn to play your first melody with a left hand broken chord.

And in Lesson 26 I will record a relaxing piano arrangement using the melody and chords from Lesson 25.

This is where you get to sit back, relax and just listen to your lesson.

By developing your listening skills in this relaxed manner, you are actually developing your sense of rhythm. The more you listen, the easier it will be for you to play the exact rhythms from each lesson.

Remember, it’s a process. If you’re willing to go through the process, then you will learn how to play the piano at a very high level.

Chords are the key component to every song ever written. In order to get an in-depth understanding of music, the study of chords is imperative.

Many people today don’t have time to attend piano lessons in person — nor do they have the time to practice an hour every day.

The video lessons at One Minute Piano are designed to provide short bursts of instruction that can be learned quickly.

Even though I will be uploading a new one minute piano lesson every day, you can progress at a pace that is comfortable for you.

Each video lesson will feature On-screen EZ Read Sheet Music with the letter name of each note displayed inside each note head.

This will reduce the time it takes to learn how to read sheet music from the usual 3 to 5 years, to a matter of just a few months. In fact, many students are up and running within a few weeks.

At the bottom of every video lesson, I will include an interactive piano keyboard displaying blue keys to represent right hand notes and gold keys to represent left hand notes.

The interactive keyboard will make it much easier to distinguish right hand notes from left hand notes.

To keep each video lesson as short as possible, commentary will be kept to a minimum, which won’t be a problem since each lesson is designed to be extremely intuitive.
