Taurus G3 Cheap Pistol But Does It Run? This is a question I had to test for myself The Taurus brand has had some issues and the G3 is supposed to be the culmination of better quality control and fixes. I will say the G3 and the G3C which I have a video on coming soon both surprised me. I ran this Taurus through exactly what I would do with anything. I has several hundred rounds through it at this point from G2, Gold Dot +P, reloads, and all the basic 115G range ammo. And of course I ran some steel Tul Ammo through it. To my surprise it ran reliably on everything and actually felt pretty good. I paid $240 for this in December of 2020 which is an exceptional value based on everything going on. The Stipple felt good on the grip, clean angles worked with reloads and the safety was easy to get used too. I will say the trigger is like a long Tijuana road trip its not great but usable. In all it shot well and didn't give me any reason not to trust it.
