Deer hunt 28 December 2020

Weekend before close of season. Have spent a lot of time in the woods hoping to get one and not close another season with a goose egg. It all came together in the end. A feeling that morning and lack of motivation to be in the shop worked well.
Spent all morning in the stand and just about the time of extreme boredom and wanting to climb down, this guy finally pops out.
It was a very clean shot (double lung) and he only made it about 10 yards. Very thankful to be able to harvest such an amazing creature.
