The killing of an Iranian military commander raises a series of misleading images
Qassem Soleimani, the commander of Iran's elite military unit, the Quds Force, was killed in a US-ordered airstrike in Baghdad, Iraq, on January 3. What followed was an outpouring of false or false images purporting to show the attack or the Iranians. Interactions. Others posted a picture online showing graffiti reading "Well done, Trump," which they claim appeared after Soleimani was killed. Although it was original, the graffiti was not new - it appeared on social media early in 2018, and thus was not related to that specific event.
